There is a nice write up on the recent work i gave to River Island on fashion’s insider website WGSN. Unfortunately its not accessible by the general public, so i have provided the text.
Neil Bedford’s meticulously detailed doll’s house images depicting modern domestic scenes are very thought-provoking. Creating mixed emotions derived from voyeurism and nostalgia, the images are intriguing yet disconcerting. Humour is mixed with a tinge of sadness. Bedford is studying for his MA in Fashion Photography, but has already racked up some impressive additions to his CV following his BA First Class honours at LCF, with clients including Nike, Stussy, Billionaire Boys Club, as well as editorial work for i-D, FHM and Arena
Neil Bedford recently photographed Russell Williamson, founder of Crooked Tongues wearing The Devoted ‘All Seasons Sweat.’
Launched in 2000, Crooked Tongues was created in line with a growing need for a dependable, honest, knowledgeable online sneaker resource. Fueled by a genuine passion for sneakers and all related cultures, it’s grown substantially over the last decade to become more than just a representative of the British scene, but the most comprehensive site in the world when it comes to CT’s specialist subject.
The sweat is now available in Hideout, HIP and Paegent
Recently i shot the 2009 Spring/Summer Look Book for BBC Ice Cream with stylist Carrie Mundane
Expected to be published in January, click to see current season BBC website, and also available as a poster.
